Adds 4 COM ports (each up to 115.2 kbps) to any PCI-equipped PC

The Lava Quattro-PCI offers four 16550 UART serial ports on a single PCI card. Ideal for point-of-sale (POS) system applications, it adds four additional COM ports to any PCI-equipped PC. Each port has a maximum data throughput rate of 115.2 kbps. Because of its PCI architecture, the Quattro-PCI allows IRQ sharing and automatically selects the next available IRQ and COM addresses. Since all four ports share one PCI bus IRQ, even when accessed simultaneously, you save valuable resources for other expansion cards. With easy plug-and-play installation, it automatically selects the next available IRQ and COM address; just plug it in and go!
